Arrived in Green Valley, AZ on 12/31/07 after a week in the car with two Welsh Terriers and each other! Thank goodness for the GPS which mitigated stress and arguments!! And also for the books on tape!The only nasty weather we encountered on our trek from Cleveland, OH to GV was in northern Texas where the ice and snow made travel more than difficult. We got off on a blacktopped side road which was clear due to the sun! The semis were stuck on the interstate and were absolutely creeping along!
This rental house is charming!! Attempting to post some photos, but this is my first blog with photos added - so bear with me as I learn. It was described as mid-century southwestern and that is true! Former owner was an artist and potter and left much of her work on the walls and shelves for us to enjoy. I LOVE the colors and the Arizona room and the walled patio (which seems to be code in these parts)!
